NRH285DR - Dual Redundant Output 'No Contact' Rotary Position Sensor |
|
|
| |
| |

|
Penny+Giles announces a new dual redundant
output, no-contact rotary position sensor with
the slimmest low profile housing, using a
factory programmable Hall effect sensor system.
NRH285DR operates from a 5Vdc (±0.5) regulated supply
to each independent sensor channel, and has two
independent outputs, enabling full redundancy from a very
slim package.
NRH285DR has a co-moulded fully encapsulated
sensor
system that can withstand high shock and vibration as
well as operate up to +170°C, and endure high pressure
wash-downs (IP69K). The sensor is activated by a separate
magnet in a choice of three options.
NRH285DR is designed for applications in extreme
environments where space is limited. It also allows up
to ±2mm radial offset, with a permissible gap 2-7mm
between the sensor and magnet. The transmissive
properties between the magnet and sensor also allow
operation through non-magnetic materials. |

RCP - Conductive Plastic Rotary Potentiometer |
|
|
| |
| |

|
The RCP range of conductive plastic rotary
potentiometers have been designed to provide
high precision, reliability and quality and
perform in severe environmental conditions.
Automated trimming of linearity and resistance by
profiling of the resistive element maintains consistent
high quality. Exact setting of pre-load on the stainless
steel ball races supporting the shaft, eliminates shaft
radial and axial play throughout the life of the
potentiometer and provides excellent vibration and
shock performance.
Multi finger precious metal sliding contacts combined
with conductive plastic resistive and collector tracks
result in high reliability, long life, low output noise and
virtually infinite resolution.
A range of options exist to customise the standard
range to suit specific customers requirements for
linearity, track resistance, switch tracks, environmental
sealing and shaft configurations.
Models RCP11, RCP15, RCP18 and RCP30 can also
be supplied with a non-linear sine/cosine output function.
Suited to a wide range of applications in defence
and industrial markets. |
STANDARD RANGE FEATURES: |
• RCP05 - Supplied in size 05 synchro mount size
• (12.7mm body diameter), it can accommodate
• one cup only, with end terminal connections. |
| |

SRH220DR - Contactless Rotary Sensor - Dual Redundant Outputs |
|
|
| |
| |

|
Penny+Giles announces a new DUAL REDUNDANT
output contactless rotary position sensor
with integrated 6-way connectors, using a
factory programmable Hall effect sensor
system.
SRH220DR provides reliable and accurate rotary
position measurement in extreme industrial
environments, such as specialist off-highway
construction and agricultural vehicles, where shock,
vibration and extreme temperatures can occur.
This new sensor design is housed in an all-new
moulded housing that has a choice of fully integrated
6-way Deutsch DT06 or AMP 1.5 Superseal
connectors,
allowing separate supply voltage and output signals on
two channels. Environmental protection to IP67/IP68
is dependent on the connector style selected.
SRH220DR operates from either 5Vdc regulated or
9-30Vdc unregulated power supply and is available
with analog (0.1-4.9, 0.5-4.5 or 0-10Vdc) or digital
(PWM) output signals. The sensor is factory
programmable, allowing you to specify the output
signal type, the measurement range (0-20° to 0-360°
in 1° increments) and the output direction
(clockwise or anticlockwise).
The sensor has a 12 bit resolution (0.025%) over
the selected measuring range, and operates from
-40 to +140°C when powered at 5Vdc. |
