SB1I

SB1I  
4 to 20mA, 2 wire output, Single sensor & One signal conditioner


The SB1I is a pressure die cast aluminium sensor housing (IP65) with an integrated sensor for measuring uniaxial acceleration or inclination.
In addition to the sensor, the box contains a signal conditioner with 4...20mA, 2-wire output and a separate, highly stable supply voltage feeding off the current loop. Furthermore, the signal conditioner includes an active low pass filter, whose upper cut-off frequency / settling time can be adjusted to suit the measurement task, an output stage with current limitation, a noise voltage filter and a diode bridge for unipolar coupling to the current loop. Interference signals caused by unwanted ground currents are avoided by electrically isolating sensor and signal conditioner from the housing. Unlike the SB2.., the SB1I can accommodate larger inclinometers, such as the NG-series, that have a higher measuring accuracy. A special electronic temperature compensation system can significantly reduce the temperature sensitivity of the implemented sensor.
The compact metal cable guide and small housing size in combination with the 2-wire connection enable the use of this high quality measuring system in harsh operating conditions.

The SB2I is a pressure die cast aluminium sensor housing (IP65) with two integrated sensors for measuring inclinations and/or accelerations along two axis.
As well as the sensors, the box contains two independent signal conditioners, each with a 4...20mA, 2-wire output, and two separate, highly stable voltage supply feeding off the corresponding current loop, one for each sensor. Furthermore, each signal conditioner includes an active low pass filter, whose upper cut-off frequency / settling time can be adjusted to suit the measurement task, an output stage with current limitation, a noise voltage filter and a diode bridge for unipolar connection to the current loop. Interference signals caused by unwanted ground currents are eliminated by electrically isolating each sensor and signal conditioner from each other and the housing.

A special electronic temperature compensation system can significantly reduce the temperature sensitivity of the implemented sensors. The SB1S is a pressure die cast aluminium sensor housing (IP65) with an integrated sensor for measuring uniaxial acceleration or inclination.

As well as the sensor, the box contains a signal conditioner with a 0 ... 5V output and a separate, highly stable supply voltage that can be used externally as a reference point. Furthermore, the signal conditioner includes an active low pass filter, whole upper cut-off frequency / settling time can be tailored to suit the measurement task, and a noise voltage filter to guarantee the EMC. Interference signals caused by unwanted ground currents are eliminated by electrically isolating sensor and signal conditioner from the housing.
In addition to the voltage output, the SB1S has two open-collector output switches. Two helical trim-potentiometers enable the adjusting of two trigger thresholds within the measuring range, the exceeding of which causes the corresponding output switch to trigger. Optionally, the state transition can be set to be either off to on or on to off. The switching hysteresis can be adapted to the measuring task.
Unlike the SB2.., the SB1S can accommodate larger inclinometers, such as the NG-series, that have a higher measuring accuracy. A special electronic temperature compensation system can significantly reduce the temperature sensitivity of the implemented sensor.

±5vDC output, Single sensitive servo sensor & One signal conditioner


The SBS1U is a pressure die cast aluminium sensor housing (IP65) with an integrated sensor for highly sensitive, uniaxial acceleration or inclination measurements.

As well as the sensor, the housing contains a signal conditioner with 0...5V output and a separate, highly stable voltage supply. Furthermore, the signal conditioner includes active low pass filters for suppression of interference signals and transient suppression for EMC guarantee. Interference signals caused by unwanted ground currents are eliminated by electrically isolating sensor and signal conditioner from the housing. The terminals provide either two mutually inverse asymmetric 0...5V or one symmetrical ±5V output voltages.
The compact metal cable gland and small housing size in combination with the max.6-wire connection enable the use of this high quality measuring system in harsh operating conditions.

One NG360 with RS-485 interface

The SB360 is a pressure die cast aluminium sensor housing (IP65) with an integrated NG360 inclinometer for measuring uniaxial inclination.
In addition to the sensor, the box contains extensive EMC protection and RS485 terminator resistance that can be de- and reconnected via a soldering bridge.

The two compact metal cable guides and the small housing size in combination with the RS485 interface enable the use of this high quality measuring system as a chain inclinometer in harsh operating conditions. The implemented interface loops and available addresses enable the connection of up to 78 sensor boxes to one 4-wire bus (2 power supply wires, 2 data transfer lines).
