Signal Conditioning Module for ICT and SLT190 Range

The EICT signal conditioning module has been specifically designed to operate with the ICT and SLT190 range of contactless linear position transducers.

This module incorporates a high performance circuit that drives the transducer and provides a choice of output signals with zero and gain adjustment for simple user configuration.  The module can be supplied in a choice of enclosures, with sealing to IP66 or IP68

The module operates from a 10-60 Vdc supply voltage and provides a range of outputs which can be configured by the user.  The module is matched to the ICT or SLT190 transducer by a plug-in Sensor Calibration Module Card (SCMC).

DC/DC Driver for LVDTs

The SCM100 LVDT signal conditioning module has been designed specifically to operate with the AF111 and AF145 range of LVDTs, and to make using an LVDT as simple as using a linear potentiometer.

This module incorporates a high performance circuit which drives the LVDT in a ratiometric configuration, thereby maximising system accuracy by eliminating effects caused by temperature and supply current variations.

SSC

Sensor Signal Conditioning Module

The new Penny+Giles model SSC is a Sensor Signal Conditioning unit housed in an IP68 protected metal enclosure.  It is suitable for use with any sensor that produces a dc output signal voltage in the range 0 - 5Vdc.

The SSC also provides a 5Vdc source that may be used as a supply for many types of sensor, including potentiometers, contactless position transducers, tilt sensors, pressure transducers and load cells.

The SSC converts the sensor output voltage signal to a 4-20mA (or optional 5-19mA) current output, or by using additional module cards, into a variety of different voltage formats or a digital PWM output.

• Designed for use with Penny & Giles SLS, SRS and SRH position sensors, but is also suitable for use with any contactless position transducers, tilt sensors,
pressure transducers and load cells that have a 0-5Vdc output signal.

UCM

UCM 
Universal LVDT Signal Conditioning Module

The Penny+Giles model UCM is a low voltage dc powered Universal Conditioning Module designed to operate with a wide range of LVDTs, RVDTs and other analogue inductive transducer types.

The set-up is simple and flexible, allowing user adjustment of excitation voltage and frequency, operating mode, span output and zero position, as well as configuration for multiple unit synchronisation.

The UCM has a rugged die-cast aluminium alloy housing that is dust and fluid protected to IP68.

The UCM provides a simple 0.5 to 4.5Vdc analogue output signal. By using additional plug-in module cards, a variety of different voltage ranges, a current output, or a digital PWM output can be obtained. The module operates from an unregulated 10-30 Vdc supply.
