High Pressure Miniature Transducer


The PHP160 series is designed for high pressure measurements up to 3000bar. Its monolithic construction makes it well adapted to endurance tests and applications with high frequency pulsations. Being all stainless steel, it is compatible with most media including corrosive fluids used in industry. Unamplified (mV/V output) or equipped with the latest signal conditioning technologies from EFE (0-5 and 0.5-4.5Vdc outputs), it is able to measure very dynamic phenomenon. Its thin film sensitive element ensures high performances and stability over wide temperature range. Models with Vdc built-in electronics (power supply : 8-30Vdc), being low consumption (< 10mA) and with high bandwidth capabilities are particularly adapted to embedded applications.

The PSF160 series is designed for highly dynamic pressure measurements. Thanks to a semiflush construction, the pressure diaphragm is exposed, in direct contact with the medium, with reduced dead volume. Being all titanium, it is compatible with most media including corrosive fluids used in industry. Unamplified (mV/V output) or equipped with the latest signal conditioning technologies from EFE (0-5 and 0.5-4.5Vdc outputs), it is able to measure very dynamic pressure spikes. Its thin film sensitive element ensures high performances and stability over wide temperature range. Models with built-in electronics (power supply : 8-30Vdc), being low consumption
( < 10mA) and with high bandwidth capabilities are particularly adapted to embedded applications.

The PGA220 series is a general purpose aerospace pressure sensor. The sensing element is an advanced piezo-resistive pressure module which together with the latest compensation techniques, provides high performance measurements. It is available with unamplified (mV/V) or amplified (Vdc, mA) outputs. Wetted parts being all stainless steel (other materials are available on request), the sensor is compatible with most media used in Aerospace industry, especially corrosive ones (Skydrol, Kerosene…). High accuracy pressure measurements on test bench is one of the main application for the PGA220. Thanks to compact dimensions and a large choice in mechanical and electrical connections, installation is easier.

Operating from –40 up to +175°C, the PHT120 series is dedicated to high temperature pressure measurements. With all stainless steel wetted parts, it is compatible with most media, including corrosive fluids used in automotive, aerospace and energy industries. The PHT120 is available with unamplified output (mV/V), compensated in temperature to deliver the best accuracy. Model PFD121 pressure sensor is designed with a flush stainless steel diaphragm, in direct contact with process media and without dead volume. It is equiped with four active bonded strain gages arranged in a Wheatstone-bridge configuration. The PFD121, available on standard with unamplified output (mV/V), is able to measure dynamic pressure spikes. On option, it can be set up with a remote amplifier (AMP310). Available pressure ranges span from 15 to 700 bar. The PFD121 can be used in corrosive fluid environments.

The PCM120 series pressure sensors allow a combined pressure and temperature measurements at a same location. Wetted parts being all titanium, they are compatible with all common and hostile pressure media used in aerospace and automotive. Miniature dimensions, low mass and ruggedized design make PCM120 series pressure sensors well adapted to embedded applications on vehicules, aircrafts, missiles, satellites, etc. The pressure transducer utilizes EFE thin film technology and a platinum RTD senses media temperature. The pressure and temperature devices are designed to operate independently. Output for pressure is an amplified 0.5-4.5Vdc while temperature signal is directly the one from PT1000 sensor.
